Diving en La Burrera

La Burrera, one of the best dives in the Canary Islands, is a reward for the experienced diver and lover of marine life. It is a reward because it needs the right ocean and current conditions, and also because the dive is spectacular, as much for its marine life as for its labyrinthine landscape which the diver will find 20 metres below the surface. It is a half an hour boat ride from the village of Caleta de Sebo, on the island of La Graciosa, to the north of Lanzarote.

El Mocanal

The picturesque village of El Mocanal, surrounded by pastures and crops, is in the north of El Hierro. This traditional hamlet is very close to El Pozo de las Calcosas, a bathing area with spectacular natural pools, perfect for cooling off with a quick dip in the crystal-clear water. It is also famous for the ‘carpets’ hand-created out of natural materials such as flowers, sand and dyed salt that cover the streets for Corpus Christi, which attracts a large number of visitors every year. A beautiful place that captivates anyone looking for peace and quiet and who enjoys the unique beauty of this charming hamlet and the surrounding landscape.

Playa Grande

Playa Grande, located in Arico, is a beautiful, pleasant beach in the southeast of Tenerife. Its fine, golden sand and crystal-clear water with spectacular views of Mount Teide create an exceptionally delightful setting. We recommend visiting at low tide, as that will mean there is more space for walking, playing beachball or just sunbathing and enjoying a few relaxing dips in the sea, as there isn’t usually a current. When there is no wind, it’s a fabulous beach that is not frequented by many tourists but is popular with the locals, especially in summer.

The calm sea is sheltered by natural reefs, making it safe for children. Along the lively seafront promenade—with the characteristic coconut trees making it even more unique and appealing—are shops, cafés and restaurants that make it easy to combine a perfect day of beach and leisure.
