Charco Roque

"El Charco Roque is a spectacular example of how the twisted forms of lava have been molded by the force of the sea. Nestled on the beautiful coast of Buenavista, this natural pool is one of the most visited spots by the residents of the municipality, especially in summer. The puddle is located between Las Arenas and El Fraile beaches. Los Chochos pool

You can't miss this magical corner of the municipality of Los Silos. Volcanic eruptions have created whimsical shapes, giving rise to a beautiful pool of salt water where you can swim and enjoy a very special environment. The Los Chochos pool, located next to Charco de La Araña, has a depth of about two meters at its deepest part and has a stone staircase with a handrail that facilitates access. It is suitable for families with children and is available for swimming all year round as long as the sea conditions are ideal. From there you will be able to contemplate the La Culata Cliffs and the Teide on clear days. Its name is due to the fact that in this place the farmers used to soak the lupins in salt water to remove the characteristic bitterness of this legume known in the islands under the name of ‘chocho.’"

La Francesa Beach

On the northeast of Lanzarote is the little island of La Graciosa. In a space of scarcely 30 square kilometres, it prides itself on a coastline full of coves and untouched beaches, among which La Francesa stands out above all others. With its fine white sand in sharp contrast to the turquoise blue of the sea, it forms the shape of a horseshoe facing south which means the sea is almost always calm. And since it is situated in the south of La Graciosa, it has breathtaking views of the sea strait and the gigantic wall of natural stone that make up the cliffs of Famara on the northeast coast of Lanzarote.
