This experience invites us to walk through the hills of Alajeró following the echo of Orahan, the Indigenous deity that gave spiritual meaning to the ancient canton of Orone. Among hermitages, sacred summits and paths that cross ravines, the route reveals how the mountains were, for centuries, the natural temples of the island’s Indigenous population. The trail links symbolic points —Virgen del Paso, San Lorenzo and Tagaragunche— where landscape and spirituality blend.
