Orone Protected Landscape

The Orone Protected Landscape includes two large ravines, Erques-La Rajita and La Negra. Within this area, ideal for visitation on foot, you can find semi-abandoned farmhouses such as Erques, Erquito and La Rajita. It is characterized for containing elements of high aesthetic and cultural value. As a whole, the area is divided into two ravines connected at their headwaters by a common basin. Part of this area is part of the peripheral zone of Garajonay National Park, and is therefore located in a zone catalogued as an ecologically sensitive area, in the lower part of the La Rajita ravine. Its interior includes the natural monument of La Fortaleza.
