The Association of Registered Canary Islands Dieticians (ADDECAN) gives some tips on keeping healthy during holidays

The route leads from the centre of Santa Lucía, through the Llano de la Piedra, to the cemetery, where it descends into the Sorrueda neighbourhood with views over the Sorrueda dam. It then crosses the dam and arrives in Fortaleza Grande by road. This place saw the end of the islanders’ long resistance to the Castilian armies at the end of the 15th century. After climbing the rock formation, you cross a cave to reach the other side of the mountain. Next, you go round another peak known as Fortaleza Chica, then following a path parallel to the main road, you return to the Llanos de la Piedra and the old town. This route is particularly significant because of the archaeological importance of the area, as well as the rich native flora and the impressive views over the whole of the Caldera de Tirajana and the ravine bed.

Although many are already well known for their work, today we’re highlighting some of our creators for their originality. You’ve probably heard of some of them before!
