A route along the Marteles crater
The landscape in la Caldera de los Marteles, formed by a volcanic eruption in contact with underground waters is one of the great treasures of this Natural Reserve and of the route which goes through it. It is accompanied by impressive rocks originating from erosion. The pleasant climate of Gran Canaria allows this route to be enjoyed all year round although it is advisable to check the weather forecast before doing any outdoor activity. Due to the length of the trek, take water to keep hydrated and some food.
