Cruz de Los Reyes

Every year thousands of people come to visit this natural wonder. The 1,400 metre-high plain bisected by the Camino de la Virgen walking trail which is famous for a festival, the Descent of the Virgen of the Kings, that takes place during the first Saturday in July once every four years. The Virgin is the patron saint of the island and during the festival an image of the holy figure is moved from a religious sanctuary in La Dehese to Valverde where it remains for a month. Half way along the path people stop for a party in which six of the local towns get together for traditional dance and celebratory family meals on special tablecloths.

Faro del Tostón

In the extreme northwest of Fuerteventura, the Tostón Lighthouse is one of three important lighthouses in the Bocaina Strait, the other two being Pechiguera (Lanzarote) and Martiño (Lobos Islote). The lighthouse is a must-see location in the north of El Cotillo known for spectacular sunsets and the famous crystalline water lagoons protected by reefs that offer ideal swimming conditions for all the family.

Los Gigantes Cliffs

Located in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, The Cliff of the Giants (Los Gigantes) lives up to its name. It is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Tenerife. The 600-metre-tall basalt slab has a great wealth of local, protected wildlife and is a tremendous sight whether viewed by land or sea. Volcán del Cuervo

The crater of the Cuervo volcano is located between the Timanfaya National Park and the protected area of ​​La Geria. Excursions and hiking trips in this area represent a journey back in time. The location is part of volcanological history with the first volcano to open part of what is now known as La Caldera de los Cuervos. It was in this area as well that, in 1730, the Timanfaya eruptions began. They were to continue for 6 years. Please note: We kindly ask that you do not take volcanic stones as they are part of a unique heritage.

Los Hervideros

Los Hervideros is a startling landscape in the town of Yaiza, within the Timanfaya National Park in the southwest of Lanzarote. When the Atlantic Ocean hits the coast it froths and spits, as if it were boiling. The volcanic origins of the Canary Islands are shown in the hard-rock lava from the Timanfaya volcano that stretches out towards the ocean. Apart from simply gazing out towards the wide-open Atlantic, Los Hervideros is also ideal for walking routes and for fishing.

Pedro Barba

La Graciosa is a unique island, to the north of Lanzarote, with unspoiled nature and unique sandy streets. It is a quiet spot where families, individuals, and couples can enjoy bicycle rides and 4x4 safari tours of the untouched beaches. Daily excursions to nearby Isla de Lobos can be scheduled for bird watching. Pedro Barba is one of the two inhabited areas in La Graciosa. The settlement is only composed of a few houses which are uninhabited most of the year. There are restaurants though, and fresh fish, which is caught each day and goes straight from the ocean to the kitchen table.
