Centro de Interpretación del Queso y el Pastoreo de la Gomera

The La Gomera Cheese and Pastoralism Interpretation Centre offers an in-depth look at one of the island’s most deeply rooted traditions: livestock farming and artisanal cheese production. Through interpretative content and educational resources, it explains the role of pastoralism in shaping the landscape, economy and culture of La Gomera, as well as the traditional techniques linked to land use. The visit helps to understand the historical relationship between people and the natural environment, and the value of a way of life that has shaped the island’s rural identity.
