Canarian history in a Franciscan convent

The Island Museum of La Palma brings together archaeology, ethnology and natural and nautical sciences. Established in 1986 and located in Santa Cruz de la Palma, locals and visitors come to enjoy a top collection of exhibits. The location encompasses an old Franciscan convent from the 16th century which is organized around two patios with wooden corridors and two cloisters. In addition, the spot includes other museums such as the Natural History Museum, Ethnography Museum and Humanity and the Fine Arts Museum.
