Museo Etnográfico Casa Luján

A 17th century manor house of Puntallana

This mansion illustrates the power of Puntallana in the 17th century. As well as a family home, in its day the building has been used as a town hall, court and school. The original inhabitants fell in love with the richness of the natural environment, and the population of the local area grew with the arrival of immigrants who worked with the maritime traffic. History is preserved in the manor house to the smallest details of daily life. It looks like a family was living there and had just left home.

A shop with local crafts

To get to the museum, you can walk along Calle de las Procesiones and stop at the Mirador Literario (the Literary Vantage Point). After visiting the manor house it’s also worth seeing the Fountain of San Juan. Nearby there is a shop that sells native craft products.
