Benehauno Centro de Interpretación Petroglifos de El Paso

The place to learn about the prehistory of the Canary Islands

Benehauno is the right place for lovers of prehistory and its symbols. This is an interpretation center for the pre-Hispanic petroglyph (symbolic design engraved in rock) stations found in El Paso. Inside, it houses an extensive exhibition of informative panels, audiovisual content and original archaeological pieces, including a hundred or so rock engraving stations such as those of Lomo de Tamarahoya and Lomo Gordo. To these we must add two of the most interesting and beautiful sets of petroglyphs of ancient Benahoare, such as the sites of La Fajana and El Verde.
