Artesanía Casa Sta María

Discover intricate handicrafts

Casa Santa Maria is a spectacular 17th Century country house in Betancuria, in the centre of Fuerteventura. As well as taking a peaceful stroll through the lush gardens, you can witness first-hand how traditional island handicrafts are made. There is also a display of ancient farming utensils, an excellent example of the traditional lifestyle that existed on the island until a few decades ago.

One of Fuerteventura’s most beautiful restaurants

With 3D and Multiview Projections, Casa Santa Maria offers a unique way of seeing the wildlife and flora and fauna of Fuerteventura, as do the rooms dedicated to the Betancuria National Park. The souvenir shop is a great place to leisurely browse for gifts for people of all ages. To finish your visit, don't miss the romantic and rustic restaurant, considered one of the most beautiful on the island. What's more, its recipe for roast goat is renowned.
