Golf Costa Teguise

The golf course on the dormant volcano in Lanzarote

Costa Teguise Golf, situated on the east of Lanzarote, was described in its day, as the best designed golf course in the Canary Islands by the world number one Severiano Ballesteros. Built in 1978 by the professional golfer John Harris, it comes down the slopes of an ancient volcano and is enhanced with volcanic lava, cacti and palm trees. Its views of the Atlantic Ocean and the unbeatable weather conditions make a round of golf a very enticing prospect on any day of the year.

Playing a round of golf in Costa Teguise

Playing in Costa Teguise can be quite challenging due to the sea breeze which changes playing conditions randomly. With several dog-legs which oblige the player to use all the clubs and closed fairways with more than 3,000 palm trees, thus making it a demanding course for professionals but for those with high handicaps a round of golf is a great experience. Costa Teguise Golf, in these very special surroundings, will make you use all your playing strategies.

  • Never leave waste of any type lying around, including cigarette butts. Leftover food leads to a proliferation of rats and wild cats.
  • Use the waste-paper baskets and, insofar as possible, separate and place your recycling waste in the appropriate containers.
