The only golf course in La Gomera

Perched on a cliff in the south of La Gomera, Tecina Golf is the only course on the island. Strategically located near the small resort of Playa de Santiago and high above Lomada Tecina, it offers incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Tenerife. Designed in 2003 by renowned golf course architect Donald Steel, the course offers the opportunity to play golf in a unique natural setting.

Play golf next to the Hotel Jardin Tecina

The design of the Tecina Golf course involves descending different terraces, but with no sloping whatsoever towards the sea. In the upper part the use of native plants gives an arid feel but as you progress through the course, the vegetation increases, as you approach the Hotel Jadrín Tecina, where there are tropical and fruit trees. The best hole is the 10th, which appears to be floating in the air next to a cliff while the fairway is divided by a ravine. Spectacular.
