Teobaldo Power: his music, his legacy

The Documentation Center of the Canary Islands and the Americas (CEDOCAM) presents a new documentary exhibition titled: “Teobaldo Power: his music, his legacy”. This exhibition allows visitors to dive into a direct dialogue with the documents that explain the life and work of the illustrious musician from Tenerife, a crucial figure in 19th century Canary Island music whose compositions have endured as an essential part of the island’s heritage. The exhibition provides not just an unique opportunity to explore his life and work through photographs, sheet music, concert program, and publication highlighting his influence and legacy in the musical field but also the access and enjoyment of the material culture associated with his person, promoting a better understanding of his great work.
