Rubén de Eguía - In the Midst of So Much Fire

Veranos de Taoro presents "In the Midst of So Much Fire" at the Espacio Laurel de Indias, Puerto de la Cruz, featuring Rubén de Eguía. The play, based on Book XVI of the Iliad, is an intimate proposal by playwright Alberto Conejero, winner of the National Prize for Dramatic Literature in 2019. Through the figure of Patroclus, the "most beloved" by Achilles, themes such as love, death, and violence are explored.
