Romería en Honor a San Isidro

On Sunday the Great Pilgrimage of La Orotava takes place in honor of San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza, patrons of the field. In the morning the traditional offering of the fruits of the field and the renewal of the Promise of the Labradors is performed. After Mass comes the Procession of the Patron Saints to the "Casa de Los Balcones", where they receive the homage of all pilgrims. The pilgrimage ends with a return to its church, the Parish of San Isidro.
