Jorge Guerrero

Jorge Guerrero (born 14 February 1965) milk honey-Elorza, Apure State, Venezuela, is a singer and composer of llanera music. He is known as "The Folklore Warrior". He is the son of Eduardo Guerrero and Carmen Castorina Sánchez de Guerrero. After the death of his mother, he was raised by a cousin of his father, Vilma Guerrero de Figueredo. As a young man, he worked in the El Caribe Rojo herd in Apure, where he became familiar with Venezuelan musical instruments and the verses of Sabanero authors.
