International Day of Women and Girls in Science

The La Orotava City Council joins the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science with a series of activities aimed at highlighting the role of women in the scientific and technological fields. These initiatives seek to encourage scientific vocations among girls and promote gender equality in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The activities include talks, workshops, and exhibitions that showcase the contributions of women scientists throughout history and in the present day.
