Festivities of La Virgen de La Candelaria

The Festivity of the Virgin of Candelaria in Tenerife, celebrated every February 2nd, is one of the most important events in the Canary Islands. It honors the Virgin of Candelaria, the archipelago’s patron saint, with religious acts such as processions and masses in her basilica, located in the town of Candelaria.
