Asaari Bibang: Black Humor

At the CajaCanarias Cultural Space in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Asaari Bibang presents "Black Humor", a monologue that blends comedy and reflection to candidly and sharply explore the experience of being a Black woman and migrant in Spain. Over 90 minutes, she invites the audience to question stereotypes, prejudices, and clichés while sharing her own process of deconstruction.
With a direct and visceral style, she addresses topics such as the white savior complex, representation, hypersexualization, and interracial relationships, ensuring that laughter and thought go hand in hand in a stand-up performance with a message.
