El Almacén hosts the presentation of the "Ataraxia" catalogue, a work that pays tribute to the artistic career of Lanzarote-born artist Eduardo Manrique. This catalogue gathers a selection of collages, drawings, and sculptural pieces that stand out for their connection to the languages of abstraction, influences from the Chicago school of architecture, and Bauhaus aesthetics. The presentation includes an artistic reflection text by curator David Machado, as well as photographs by Carlos Reyes and Moisés Fleitas, alongside graphic design by Estudio Geiser.
The proposal offers a unique experience that invites attendees to explore the connection between geometry, chromatic harmony, and the imagery of naval engineering—elements that characterise Manrique's artistic discourse. This event not only celebrates the artist's work but also highlights the rich cultural tradition of Lanzarote, creating an ideal atmosphere for dialogue and reflection on contemporary art.
