Alone with Marilyn

The Teatro Municipal de Tías presents "Alone with Marilyn", a chamber opera by David del Puerto based on the play by Alfonso Zurro. Conceived for soprano, mezzo-soprano, electric viola, electric guitar and soundscapes, the work weaves together the intimate and the mythical through the story of Ella, a woman whose emotional world collapses after a breakup and who begins to confront the iconic figure of “Marilyn.”
