The representation of the Battle of Lepanto is held in Barlovento, La Palma, as part of the festivities in honor of the Virgen de Las Nieves. This event, which commemorates the naval confrontation that took place in 1571, occurs every two or three years, coinciding with the patronal celebrations, ensuring a large influx of visitors and a festive atmosphere in the town.
