International Festival Canarias Jazz y Más welcomes D’Local Groove to Playa de Santiago, a vibrant musical project formed in 2017 by seven musicians with extensive experience in the Canary Islands music scene. Their urban music is infused with energy and groove, blending neo-soul, R&B, reggae, funk, and blues in compositions with harmonically rich arrangements and lyrics that are both fun and deeply thought-provoking. Alba Serrano's voice adds a wide range of vocals, while the group, led by Miguel Ramírez and Miqui Delgado, released their debut album "Sigo Aquí" in 2022, reflecting current social issues such as immigration and inequality.
