12 to 13 September
The Anaga Biofest culminates in September its journey that began in 2022, aiming to connect the Biosphere Reserve of the Anaga Massif with other UNESCO-recognized territories in the Canary Islands. La Gomera becomes the perfect setting for this first cycle of partnerships, offering a specific program on the 12th and 13th that fosters collaborative links among the eight islands.
This event focuses on the exchange of knowledge and experiences for the development and conservation of these territories. Over the years, Anaga Biofest has promoted meetings among agents from various sectors such as agriculture, fishing, education, and gastronomy. The program in La Gomera reinforces the approach of regenerative tourism, highlighting the importance of the local people and the conservation of their traditions, with activities taking place in iconic locations such as Agulo, Hermigua, Vallehermoso, and the Garajonay National Park.
