The Reverse of the Stage

The Sala Insular de Teatro in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria presents The Reverse of the Stage, a play by Grupo Antígona de la ONCE. Just before the curtain rises, the actors run through their final rehearsal, but an unexpected event threatens the start of the performance. Through a theatrical farce, the company plays with the boundaries between fiction and reality, reflecting on the meaning of existence and the loss of metaphysical references, in line with the vision of Eugenio Ionesco.
