Romería de La Virgen del Pino de Teror

The island of Gran Canaria celebrates its main day on September 8th, honoring the feast of its patron saint, Our Lady of the Pine. The Basilica of the Virgin, located in the picturesque and traditional town of Teror, welcomes thousands of pilgrims on the eve of the grand celebration, who arrive on foot from various parts of the island to worship their patroness and fulfill their promises. This festival has been declared an event of Tourist Interest in the Canary Islands.
