Journey to Oz. The Musical. Dora has a unique talent for creating wonderful sketches. Her works go beyond colourful poppy fields; she enthusiastically explores painting funny scarecrows, original castles made from tin cans and adorable lion soft toys. Her classmates are amazed by her talents, but everything changed the day Celia, the new teacher, noticed something special about her sketches. They seemed to have been taken from a very special book.
That day, when class was almost over, an unexpected tornado forced them to take shelter in the classroom. They were only expecting to be there for an hour or two, until the danger passed and they could go home. How could they entertain themselves during that time? Perhaps by reading the story behind Dora's sketches? The power of the tornado transported them to an imaginary world full of magical landscapes and fantastical characters who personified Dora's own insecurities. Their goal: to show her that if she really wanted to, nothing could stop her from achieving her dreams.
