Fiesta de la Lana de Gáldar

The Wool Festival is held every 30 May in Cadeiros de Gáldar, Gran Canaria. Recognised as a Festival of Tourist Interest in the Canary Islands, during the week prior to the festival, workshops are organised on how to learn to weave, process wool and spin yarn. It culminates in a day full of activities that promote Canarian culture, with exhibitions that showcase the rich heritage, art and crafts of the region.
