Don Juan Tenorio y Noche de los finaos

The performance of Don Juan Tenorio, the classic play by José Zorrilla, has become a major event in the autumn calendar of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Every year, on the Night of the Dead, which coincides with Halloween celebrations, Plaza de Santa Ana, located in the heart of Vegueta, transforms into the main stage for this theatrical work. The event features both traditional interpretations that preserve Zorrilla's classic spirit and new theatrical proposals that offer fresh perspectives on the character of Don Juan.
