Don Juan Tenorio y Noche de los finaos

The performance of Don Juan Tenorio, the classic play by José Zorrilla, has become a prominent event in the autumn calendar of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Every year, on the Night of the Finados, which coincides with the celebration of Halloween, the Plaza de Don Benito transforms into the main stage for this theatrical production. The event features both performances that preserve Zorrilla’s traditional spirit and new interpretations that bring fresh perspectives to the character of Don Juan.
