Manuel Velázquez Cabrera Foundation – BUILDING BRIDGES, SOWING FUTURE

The Manuel Velázquez Cabrera Foundation presents the event "BUILDING BRIDGES, SOWING FUTURE", which will take place at the Casa Manuel Velázquez Cabrera in Fuerteventura. This initiative aims to understand and disseminate the ideals of Manuel Velázquez Cabrera, one of the fathers of the Insular Cabildos and a key figure in the political-administrative configuration of the Canary Autonomous Community.

This year's program focuses on sharing local and global experiences that demonstrate the possibility of building a more hopeful future. On August 20, the topic "Until Equality Becomes Custom. The Women's Uprising in the Church" will be addressed by María del Carmen Peñate Cabrera, who will provide her perspective from her degree in Pedagogy and her commitment to inclusion. This gathering serves as a space for reflection and the exchange of ideas, in an environment that pays tribute to the struggle for equality and social progress.
