The Fiestas Trienales de la Bajada de la Virgen del Pino in El Paso, La Palma, held in July, August and September, are a long-established event that celebrates the island's traditions, arts and entertainment. Every three years, the patron saint joins her devotees in a massive pilgrimage, transforming the municipality into an epicentre of devotion and pilgrimage.
