"""14.4"" sets out to explore, in a raw language that is at the same time lyrical and poetic, the journey that separates two worlds only 14.4 kilometres apart.

The story follows Ahmed, a boy who escapes from his abusive family to survive on the streets of Tangiers. In this environment, full of adventures, dreams and misadventures, an obsession arises that consumes him: to cross to Spain. For Ahmed, Spain is paradise on earth, the final destination, the Ithaca longed for by every traveller.

At only 9 years old, Ahmed manages to cross to the peninsula hidden in the undercarriage of a lorry. But once in the ""promised land"", a new odyssey begins, far from his dreams but marked by humour, adventures, solidarity and unexpected outcomes."
