A seaside beach

This beach with grey and charcoal sand is located in the municipality of Guía de Isor. It lies next to a pier with fishing boats, making it one of the most picturesque places in the area. It is approximately 30 metres long and 15 metres wide, and has some facilities such as bins and showers.

One of the biggest attractions of this beach is undoubtedly the many restaurants that specialise in fish and traditional food that can be found in the surrounding area. Before going to dinner, we recommend staying to enjoy the incredible sunsets overlooking La Gomera, which can be enjoyed from the sand.

Sustainability

- Never leave waste of any type lying around, including cigarette butts. Leftover food leads to a proliferation of rats and wild cats.
- Do not throw any waste or other objects into the sea.
- Respect the animals. Do not bother them or feed them. If you see an injured specimen, you can call the emergency number: 112. Do not pick flowers or plants from the environment.
- Do not pick up or take away stones or any other item from the natural environment. And do not move them to pile them up into sadly famous 'towers'.
- Do not use soap or gel in the showers located at the entrance to the beach.
- Try to use ocean- friendly sun creams.
- Pets are prohibited at most beaches. Make sure you can take them beforehand.
- Try not to alter the peace of the environment with excessive noise (loud music, yelling, etc.) or activities that might be bothersome, such as ball games.
