An exotic beach in Lanzarote
Enjoying the views of Famara, La Graciosa and the rest of the Chinijo archipelago in the north of Lanzarote is a joy no matter where you contemplate them from. However, enjoying them while you bathe in the calm, crystal clear, invigorating sea is much more satisfying. You will find that and much more in Under the Risco beach, a refuge of peace and tranquility next to the cliffs of Famara, a beach of fine golden sand and a reference point for those looking for peace and tranquility.
Bathing en El Río, opposite La Graciosa
In order to get to this quiet beach you have to take the road down from Yé, near the Mirador del Río or take a boat from Órzola or La Graciosa. The Gracioseros pathway will lead you down in about an hour to the beach and nearby sea mouths which are also well worth seeing. The varying shades of blue of the Atlantic invite you to bathe and to find that sunshine which in the morning hides the cliff. The feelings of serenity and of being in a oasis are assured, from the moment you step on the beach to the moment you step off.
