This beach is a favourite for divers who love to explore the 46 local dive sites full of a wealth of marine biodiversity. There are 10 immersion points in the La Restinga Marine Reserve which is circled by cliffs, sandy Banks, and caves. The area is an old fishing village, but these days it also frequented by families who like to swim in the calm water. The beach has an access platform for people with reduced mobility.

This cove enjoys calm waters throughout the year. For this reason, many call the ocean in the area “Mar de las Calmas”, which means “Sea of Calm” in Spanish. Whilst bathing in the water the landscape around the cove offers a fabulous colour palette: there is the turquoise of the ocean, the black volcanic rocks, and the light blue sky.
