Matorral Beach, also popularly known as La Solana or Saladar de Jandía Beach, is located on the coast of the Jandía peninsula and in one of the most touristy areas of Fuerteventura, the town of Morro Jable, municipality of Pájara. Matorral Beach is four kilometers long and is bordered by a huge avenue with shops, leisure centers and restaurants, as well as Saladar de Jandía, a Site of Scientific Interest to conserve a type of vegetation that is very scarce in the Canary Islands, resistant to salt water. This area is properly protected by a fence and access to the beach is via footbridges over this protected natural area.

One of the wildest, least developed and largest beaches in the Canary Islands, which exhausts all adjectives. Located in the north of the Jandia peninsula, in the south of Fuerteventura, Cofete is a visual gift of endless blond sand, rough ocean and a total feeling of freedom. Its 12 kilometers, the scarce presence of houses, the absence of paved roads and the suitability of visiting it by 4x4 say a lot about its characteristics. The term “virgin” was simply invented for these beaches.

It is worth taking a boat to reach, in just 15 minutes, this small paradisal island and enjoy an unforgettable day at La Concha, the best beach on the island, with white sand as well as calm and transparent waters. But we can also take a dip in the natural pools of El Puertito, which are crystal blue and breathtakingly beautiful.
