Traditions Parade in Icod de los Vinos

Icod de los Vinos is filled with color and tradition during the Festivities of San Marcos Evangelista, with one of its most iconic events being the Paseo de las Tradiciones (Traditions Parade). This festive procession reflects the deep-rooted pride of the people of Icod in preserving and sharing their cultural identity. Since 1997, residents and local groups have taken part in this living display of ancestral customs, showcasing unique elements such as the hachitos and cabezudos from Las Canales, the Diablos from Las Angustias, the decorated pivas and kites from La Vega, the Globos of San Antonio, the boats from San Marcos beach, the staffs from Buen Paso, and the floral decorations from El Calvario.
