The Emperor

The Auditorio de Tenerife presents "The Emperor", a programme in which the Tenerife Symphony, conducted by Vasily Petrenko, explores new sonic territories through three major works of the repertoire. The evening opens with Intégrales by Edgard Varèse, a bold score that unfolds a rich array of timbres and textures. It is followed by pianist Xiaolu Zang performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5, known as the “Emperor,” a work of radiant lyricism and expressive power.
