Temporary Exhibition: Inhabited Nature

Inhabited Nature, by María Jesús Pérez Vilar, is an exhibition presented at the Museum of Fine Arts of Santa Cruz de Tenerife that offers a pictorial journey conceived as an inner voyage. The Tenerife-born artist creates a landscape that transcends the visible to become a state of mind: it begins with water, a symbol of origin and renewal; moves through suggested paths where memory and mystery reside; and culminates in the hills, a space of introspection and rootedness.
