Temporary Exhibition: Alicia from behind

"Alicia from behind" is presented at TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes as an exhibition that uses fiction to explore the boundary between idealization and survival. Drawing from the photographic archive of Alicia Navarro, Miss Spain and Miss Europe in 1935, the show invites reflection on the contrast between the splendor of popular culture and the outbreak of war, questioning to what extent artifice, beauty, and play can become a means of sustaining life.
