Shostakovich’s First

The Auditorio de Tenerife presents "Shostakovich’s First", a concert by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lucas Macías. The program features Le tombeau de Couperin by Maurice Ravel, a tribute to the composer’s friends who fell in the war; Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85, performed by the virtuosic Nadège Rochat; and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 1 in F minor, Op. 10, a piece that blends drama with subtle humor, heralding the emergence of the composer’s genius.
