La Librea de Valle de Guerra

La Librea, in honor of the Virgin of the Rosary, is celebrated on the first Saturday of October in Valle de Guerra. With more than 400 years of history, it commemorates the Battle of Lepanto (1571) through an allegorical reenactment in which local actors portray historical figures. Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 2007, it stands as one of the municipality’s most emblematic traditions.
