Festivities of Los Remedios

Th festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios in Tegueste blends devotion and joy, transforming the town into a vibrant mosaic of tradition and festivity. It begins with a solemn Eucharist and a majestic procession in which Our Lady of Remedies, accompanied by the Agrupación Musical San Marcos Evangelista and the Dance of the Flowers, parades through the streets. Highlights of the event include the moving transfer and hoisting of the Virgin’s flag, the lively Beer Mile, and a Gala for the Municipality’s Queen. Local creativity is showcased through handcrafted floats, and children enjoy a magical festival. The celebration also features a comedy night with Abubukaka, a splendid parade of floats, and a lively mojito night with live music. Additionally, the festivities include a delightful fireworks display, lively parties, and an afternoon of paella-making, where the united spirit of Tegueste is celebrated in honor of their Patroness.
