"Addicts" addresses the issue of technology and its impact on human freedom and society. It raises crucial questions about our submission to technology, disinformation and the authenticity of our humanity. Through the transformation of the character of Estela, the human capacity to change and rebel against paradigms assumed as valid is metaphorised. The authors vindicate the need for a technologically healthy and socially free life, confronting the audience with these contemporary concerns.
