"The group which from the capital city is putting on two shows over weekend of 3-4 November. Both at the Teatro Circo de Marte.
On Friday 3rd, ""Ayer, Hoy y Siempre"" (Yesterday, Today and Always) - a musical offering based around the songs that were most listened to and danced to during the muggings, nightclubs and open-air dances of the 1960s, 70s and 80s and which are still significant in the popular celebrations held on the island. Thus, with the particular style of Parranda La Palma, the audience will be able to enjoy songs by renowned groups and artists such as The Beatles, Fórmula V, Los Diablos, Georgie Dann, Raffaela Carrá, Billo's Caracas Boys and the Maracaibo Orchestra. Tenerife comedian Jesús Farráis will act as master of ceremonies.
With the ""Fiesta del Mariachi"" on 4 November, Parranda La Palma will be bringing the wide and varied repertoire of Mexican music to the audience, with well-known songs such as ""Guadalajara"", ""Balajú"", ""Loco"", ""El Aventurero"", ""México Lindo y Querido"", among others. Compositions that found immortality in the voices of the great performers of this genre: Pedro Infante, Vicente Fernández, José Alfredo Jiménez, Javier Solís, Alejandro Fernández and Luis Miguel. They will be accompanied on stage by Mexican-born singer Julio Minchala.
