MicroZarzuelas - Festival de música española y zarzuela de La Palma

The event "Microzarzuelas" by Yónatan Sánchez-Santianes, part of the Festival of Spanish Music and Zarzuela of La Palma, will take place at Teatro Circo de Marte in Santa Cruz de La Palma. This innovative format features miniature zarzuelas, allowing three pieces of approximately 15 to 20 minutes each to be enjoyed in a single performance. Created by commission of the Zarzuela Season of the Atlantic managed by Artífex ProArt S.L., these microzarzuelas are characterized by their musical and narrative transparency, offering well-defined characters and captivating melodies. It's a unique opportunity to introduce the general public to this deeply rooted genre in Hispanic culture, cherished throughout the Latin world.
