‘Hygiene, Cosmetics and Beauty. Usos y costumbres de nuestros ancestors' is part of the cultural activity of the Museum, which it has been carrying out annually to publicize the different collections that Cayetano, from Arid, gathered throughout his life, which stand out for belonging mostly to the daily life of other times. “This exhibition is a unique opportunity to learn about intimate hygiene habits (when running water had not reached homes) and personal image care, at a time when this began to gain prominence at the end of the 19th century. ”, explains the curator of the collection, Milagros Álvarez Sosa.
